In depth

Verdict

The enigmatic Bhutan has taken on a new lease of life recently, picking up a couple of races already this month at Wolverhampton and he can be forgiven his latest effort, as he didn't stay the two miles at Dunstall Park. He will be more at home back over this trip and although he has yet to race here, he was effective on fast ground on the turf and should have no problems with the faster surface. He has also gone well for an Amateur in the past and will get every assistance from Jamie Moore, so he gets the vote to win what looks an uncompetitive event. Fatal Flaw, who has had wind problems in the past, turns out quickly under a penalty, for winning a seller at Wolverhampton. Although he is 10lbs better off with the selection on earlier running at Wolverhampton, that doesn't look enough to turn the tables. The maiden Ren's Magic has had plenty of chances, but he does go well here and may run into a place, while So Precious has yet to shine in six attempts here and she looks better suited to the Fibresand. Royal Axminster goes well here and will be all the better for his recent outing, while course winner Time To Shine is another worthy of consideration.
