      Verdict

Lions Park made a promising debut at Haydock only to disappoint stepped up to 1m2f last time. NATIONAL POET returned to action with a third at Warwick earlier this month and with today's extra furlong likely to suit, the Godolphin colt gets the vote. He's preferred to stablemate and newcomer Exploratory but Filia Regina is another who should relish a longer trip and she may figure. Of the debutants, Buchanan and Economy are both related to winners and Martagon Lily is a half-sister to Group 2 winner Monturani among others.
