Verdict

We'll take a chance on Air Of Supremacy here, with Livia, Sofistication and Sunset Dreamer among others to consider. The Jeremy Noseda-trained selection has never raced but this contest does not look as though it contains anything out of the ordinary. As such, the grey son of Royal Applause, whose dam won eight races at seven and eight furlongs, could well prove good enough at the first time of asking. Turning to the others, Ile Facile has a bit to prove now following a Wolverhampton defeat; Dubaian Mist is related to winners and hails from a stable in pretty good form; Michael Jarvis's First Of May is also related to winners but possibly a longer trip than today's seven furlongs will suit in time; Sofistication ran green on her debut and should improve for the experience; Sunset Dreamer also ran as if needing the run on her debut and should know more this time around. Of the others, both Green Falcon and Livia catch the eye on elements of their breeding. There are more questions than answers arising from previewing this race so watch the betting market for clues. All this said, we have to make a selection, and it is Air Of Supremacy.
