A low draw can help Gulchina in her quest to get off the mark and she is preferred over Resplendent Nova and Turner's Touch from those with experience, while Framily Love is an interesting newcomer to monitor in the betting. The last named is bred to make an impact at this sort of trip and hails from a yard that have to be respected at whatever level they introduce a debutante. Peter Chapple-Hyam has done extremely well with his small all weather string since the turn of the year and this daughter of Fraam will not have to be anything special to make the frame today. Resplendent Nova was slowly into his stride on his debut and failed to get really competitive as a result. He will be better suited by the step up to a mile but already has a little to find with the selection. Therefore, a bigger threat may come from Turner's Touch, who was as green as they come on his first appearance but still fared well in what now looks to be a respectable effort in defeat. The form received a solid boost last week and this son of Compton Place is one to seriously consider as the best alternative to the selection if the market speaks in his favour. However, Gulchina is bred to appreciate this sort of surface and, with the step in trip very much expected to suit, she edges the vote as the one with the most solid profile at this stage of their development.
