      In depth

      Verdict

SLEW CHARM is put forwards here ahead of Vinces and Freedom Fire to name but two. The selection hails form a jumps orientated yard that does quite well with their occasional Flat runners. Slew Charm has been an infrequent winner under both codes which is a cause for concern but he came within a head of scoring at Wolverhampton from a 2lb lower mark just over a year ago and could make the frame at a price. Vinces is a regular at this track and is only a couple of pounds higher than the mark from which he was last successful. He's run well the last twice and should be on the premises granted the breaks in running. Freedom Fire dead-heated with Mutajaaser in a maiden at Kempton and they meet on identical terms. Both runners are relatively unexposed and may have more to offer in races of this nature. Atacama Sunrise attracted support last time and wasn't beaten far whilst New World Order went close when last in action in November and is well handicapped on his old form. In truth, there aren't too many that can be confidently ruled out but we're hopeful of a bold show from Slew Charm.
