This is a competitive start to the afternoon's action with plenty of the 13 runners having claims including the lightly raced Authentic Act and Chris Grant's Mardood, who has a nice racing weight but it may be worth siding with ROYAL MASTER on his belated reappearance. The selection has not been seen for 863 days but Richard Ford is more than capable of getting one ready after an absence and he looks worth siding with racing off a 7lb lower mark than when last seen. Royal Flynn has slipped to a fair mark and has to be respected in this grade, while a market move for Ginger's Lad would be of interest but he needs to improve on recent form to get involved at the finish. Martin Todhunter's Authentic Act ran better over course and distance in this grade last time and is open to improvement. Mardood has been running creditably of late and is another to consider but Royal Master may be worth chancing on his return.
