Love Empire can land this event at the main expense of Warming Up and Whitcombe Spirit. The selection hails from the Mark Johnston yard and this 3-year-old colt has shown enough on her last 2 starts to make her the standard bearer this afternoon. Her yard are in good form and she should prove difficult to beat. Whitcombe Spirit ran well on his handicap debut at Southwell last time when he finished third behind Mischief Making. He should be capable of winning races and it will be no surprise to see him go well. Warming Up showed some decent form towards the back end of last year but he may be sharper for this run on his first outing since October. Coral Shores is a consistent type and she looks capable of running into a place, but for the winner we will stick with Love Empire.
