      Verdict

      Always Certain stepped up considerably on what he has shown in two previous outings to finish second behind the progressive Liberty Valence in a maiden over course and distance last time. He appeared to lack a turn of foot in that closing stages of that contest but it is likely plenty use will be made of him. It appears a match between the selection and Kibitzer. Kibitzer was a bitter disappointment on his latest outing, failing to settle throughout the contest with those exertions taking their toll in the latter stages. The form of that maiden may not be too bad with the third, Always A Rock, having finished a close second in a decent maiden at Lingfield on Saturday. Always Certain is put forward with concerns over Kibitzer being a head strong individual.
