Verdict

This looks competitive with five of the six runners having won last time out; ROCOPPELIA is suggested. Amanda Perrett's runner improved for the fitting of blinkers to beat Raimond Ridge by a length and a quarter over course and distance but is actually 2lbs better off with the Channon runner who is saddled with a penalty courtesy of her win at Kempton. Quick Single is another penalised runner who also scored in first time headgear when getting the better of Saints Bay over course and distance. His mark had dropped 13lbs from his initial rating so it's conceivable that he's still well enough treated. Romantic Queen has been consistent and has been shown some leniency by the handicapper but is probably still vulnerable to improvers. Spiritual Healing beat a subsequent winner at Southwell and ran well here on debut so is a potential player if finding some improvement. Here Comes Danny is difficult to assess but the handicapper doesn't seem to have taken many chances although sustained market support would see us change our opinion. Quite a conundrum but Rocoppelia may just be the answer.
