In depth

Formwatch

Gaelic Storm Back to back wins on heavy and soft last October including over 6f. Has run twice this season over 7f without much success, may go better over this trip in heavy ground.

Legal Set (IRE) Third to Pipadash in the soft over 6f, won C&D July GS; if he can handle the ground must have a good chance.

Most-Saucy C&D winner St penultimate start, BF when finishing lame latest, a good chance if handling the testing conditions.

Mr Stylish Ran well over 6f in heavy latest, has not run over 7f since July but looks like he will appreciate it tomorrow.

Risky Reef Behind Mr Stylish at Windsor latest, but finishing close up and likely to prefer 7f. Ground no problem; should go close.

Contrary Mary Won over 6f in heavy ground, also a winner over 7f; must be one for the short list.

Ynysmon Having his first run over 7f, not impressive over shorter trips.

Prince Caspian Won a maiden when making his debut at Nottingham over 8f Soft, but nothing near that since and was disappointing over 7f heavy at Haydock; makes little appeal.

Magelta A dual winner on the AW last year, beat from this season has been on firm ground; others preferred.

The Gay Fox Since racing in Handicap company has failed to show signs of promise.

Anastasia's Shadow A winner in France, but has shown nothing since coming to Britain.

Dandy Regent Others make more appeal.

Muddy Water Only 2L beaten at Brighton latest on the soft, a winner over 8f but only run in heavy conditions was disappointing.

Comeoutofthefog (IRE) A winner over 7f on the AW, but unlikely to be good enough to win today.

Desert Island Disc Makes little appeal on latest form.

Glenwhargen (IRE) Ran in a hurdle latest, finished third but well beaten. A winner over 1m2f on the AW, but cannot see her being in the frame today.

Lady Ward (IRE) Back to back wins in August. Ran at Haydock over 8f in heavy with no success therefore others preferred.

Hurlingham Star (IRE) AW form fails to impress and would be a surprise if she impressed today.

Sunridge Rose A win over 5f in heavy means she cannot readily be dismissed, she has also won over 7f; market best watched.

Strat's Quest Her winning ways look long over, although she does go best with cut in the ground.
