In depth

Formwatch

Ambry A hurdle winner over 2m in heavy ground bodes well for today and 7lbs off his back.

Kitchener (USA) First attempt over this distance and has never run on anything worse than good.

Bahamian Rhapsody (IRE) His second at Nottingham indicates his ability over this distance on heavy ground; cannot be ignored.

Guru Has yet to travel over this trip, but finished a close up third at Windsor in heavy over 1m3f; must have good chances today.

Ice Crystal Went hurdling in the Spring and that form shaped up better than his flat form with back to back wins latest; conditions will not be a problem but has not been out for a while.

Citrine (IRE) Moderate form and has yet to run in these testing conditions.

Alqabas (IRE) Ran on soft ground at Newmarket with first time blinkers, well beaten and did not improve previous form.

Millennium Knight Hard to fancy on poor runs in poor races.

Tachometer (IRE) A winner of a poor handicap hurdle last autumn over 2m3f. Has ran twice after a year's absence and has been disappointing.

George Street (IRE) Much improved run at Beverley latest over 1m3f, open to more improvement but has a lot to do today.

Momentous Jones Well beaten on two runs on the flat this season, likely to be fit from those and his hurdle from proves he can handle the softer ground; not to be dismissed.

Sidbury Girl Moderate form on various ground; likely to find others better today.

Another Diamond (IRE) First attempt over this trip, others preferred.

Force Four (USA) Well beaten in three starts, has a different jockey today but unlikely to be there at the end.

Texas Ranger Finished more than 13L in front of Force Four at Newmarket, his only start on soft ground. Is a decent performer on better ground and a good third penultimate start at Chepstow over 2m suggests he could have a chance if he handles these very testing conditions.

Borehill Joker Back to back wins over hurdles at Leicester in these conditions and over this trip, did not beat much but clearly relished the mud.

Salix Dancer Nothing to suggest she should has a chance today.

Eljutan (IRE) Won nicely at Plumpton over hurdles but on GF, looks like he needs the obstacles inorder to run his best race.

Mister Havana Unproven over trip and going, but no to much on his present form to suggest he has a chance of winning.

Destructive (USA) Running out of the handicap and best form has come on GF at Musselburgh; others preferred.
