In a largely uncompetitive finale, Ziggy Zen can bring home the bacon, with Haafel and Sashay the main contenders. Charles Cyzer's horse was partnered by Kieren Fallon to win a handicap at Warwick last month, having earlier gone down by just a short head at Wolverhampton, and with the champion again on board he is taken to resume winning ways. In a race full of slow old boats and doubtful stayers, few of the opposition make much appeal, the exceptions being Haafel, a close third to Decisive over course and distance in March and a regular player in these staying events, along with Sashay, who has been well below her best on her last two starts but had earlier been just a couple of lengths behind Haafel in January and is now seven pounds better off.
