Nonrunner

In depth

Verdict

Fishlake Flyer, with two solid runs behind her, is hard to oppose here, and is fancied to get off the mark; Cerezo and Barbilyrifle have the best place claims. James Given's filly is held in high regard, and has probably caught a couple of tartars in finishing second in both her races so far, at Doncaster and Warwick. In truth, she has done little wrong and can put her experience to good use here. Jockey bookings suggest that Cerezo is the pick of Sean Keightley's two runners here, and the Cherokee Run colt is likely to find this evening's company easier than when last of six behind Lord Links on his debut at Newmarket, so he could easily find a place. The newcomers make little appeal on breeding, but the pick of them may just be Hugh Morrison's Barbilyrifle, an Indian Rocket half brother to a couple of juvenile winners.
