Verdict

BUYING TROUBLE romped home by five lengths at Kempton on her racecourse debut a fortnight ago. Given the runner-up has subsequently won, David Evans' filly is clearly the one to beat now handicapping. Jess scored over the minimum trip here last month in a lowly Class 6 event but War Department drops down in class and distance after failing to threaten behind Cape Speed here last time. Sir Dudley continues to slide down the weights but has yet to show any improvement for it.
