    Verdict

A good run from Lionrock in the 3.05 earlier on the card would boost the claims of BENBECULA as he finished just behind the former when fourth at Wolverhampton on last month's debut. He had the re-opposing Ruby Glass four lengths behind on that occasion and gets the vote here ahead of Bordoni. The latter's inexperience showed when only seventh on his debut over a mile at this track and today's longer trip is expected to suit, but the remaining trio look to have it all to do on what little they've shown so far.
