In depth

Verdict

Hucking Hero, King Hafhafah, and Afram Blue are the three to consider here, with the classy Afram Blue taken to defy top weight. Hucking Hero was an impressive winner of a little auction maiden last time and is not over burdened on his handicap bow, having earlier been a good third at Yarmouth. He must go well. King Hafhafah was an outsider on his racing bow but this inexpensive purchase belied his starting price by winning. He may find others have more scope. Having shown promise at Salisbury on his debut, Afram Blue made no mistake here last time, staying on well to score. He looks on breeding likely to suit this step up in trip and Afram Blue can concede weight all round.
