Verdict

NARJES (NAP) made a winning start for Mick Appleby’s yard when scoring over course and distance last week. She’s won off much higher marks in the past and can defy a penalty. Ragstone Road was having his first outing since 2018 when beating Kentucky Kingdom at Chelmsford though the latter wasn’t far behind while For Richard is fitted with a tongue-tie and is 6lb higher than when winning at Bath earlier. One Step Too Far was still well beaten when runner-up in a seller at Leicester and Crystal Carole’s earlier win came over a mile.
