Verdict

A tough race to call with a quartet of Newmarket-trained newcomers to consider. Apothecary is related to all-weather winners and makes more appeal than stablemate Blaugrana, whose pedigree suggests she'll be better over longer trips, while Appealing hails from a yard in fine form. But Ed Dunlop has picked up a few all-weather maiden races recently and ALUSHTA may be good enough on her debut as she's a half-sister to a couple of two-year-old pattern winners. Sigurwana will have improved for her debut at Kempton and is preferred to Shamardeliah of those with experience.
