Verdict

Ossmann gets the vote here with The Iron Giant and Buckland Gold rating the main dangers. The selection was a fair second behind Or Sing About a couple of runs ago granted he has since disappointed but that was on soft ground, this faster surface will suit and he looks the one to be on. The Iron Giant rates the main danger on his latest fourth behind Abutilon. He looks sure to improve for this longer trip and with his yard in form he will not be far away. Buckland Gold was a fair fourth behind Bill Owen. He is sure to have come on for the run and has definite place claims. Of the remainder Friendly Request has dropped to a handy mark and could go well at a price but in a race where solid form is thin on the ground for the winner we return to Ossmann.
