In depth

Verdict

Openditch gets the confident vote here with Kahrayan and Palila rating the main dangers. The selection goes well fresh was a fair fourth behind Shoulhavehadthat when last seen, that form looks solid and he will be hard to beat. Kahrayan rates the main danger on his debut fourth behind Run For More in a bumper he looks sure to be suited by the switch to hurdles and with his yard in form he should be watched in the market. Palila is sure to have come on for his latest fifth behind Prince de Bessey but the suspicion is he will be seen to better effect over a longer trip. Finbar's Pi was a fair fourth behind Cary's Lad last time and is another that is sure to improve. Of the remainder Chuquicamata is from a shrewd yard and should be noted in the market but in a race where the market may well tell all for the winner we return to Openditch.
