In depth

Verdict

HIGHLIFE DANCER had veteran Megalala behind when scrambling home at Brighton at the start of the month but was beaten 10 lengths under a penalty at Nottingham on Thursday. He does have 3lb less to carry here, however, and this is an extremely moderate contest which won't take much winning. Charlies Mate is closely matched with Rosie Prospects on Polytrack form last month but still looks the danger, though was a beaten favourite at Kempton on Wednesday off today's mark. Roly Tricks and Tornado Battle, third over further here last time, may be best of the rest.
