Verdict

Native Optimist has been upped 6lb for last month's course and distance victory but a follow up isn't out of the question. Minella Hero dead-heated at Wetherby in a race in which Danehills Well made much of the running until trying to run out at the second-last. Micky Hammond's charge is another to consider and Towcester second Oscar Prairie faces his easiest task for some time. Stow has won his fair share but rarely ventures outside of plating company nowadays. PARLES POND showed a big improvement last time at Carlisle. He could brush up his jumping, he'd play a major part in this.
