Verdict

Broadbrook Lass, Burwood Breeze and Claude Greengrass are three against the field in this amateur riders' handicap chase and the vote is given to Broadbrook Lass. The selection is a really game sort and she showed a fantastic attitude to defeat Don't Tell JR last time out. She has conditions to suit and with the drop in trip not expected to inconvenience her she should take plenty of beating. Burwood Breeze has a leading amateur on board and he was a decent second behind Lord Youky last time. However, he does not look entirely straightforward and is proving difficult to win with and for that reason he is opposed. Claude Greengrass was pulled-up last time but he would have strong claims on his previous win over Red Society. But he has failed to complete though on two of his last three starts so can't be backed with any confidence. Skycab has been disappointing of late so is another to watch until he shows signs of improvement, and Broadbrook Lass is given the vote.
