Verdict

Beyond The Pale gets the confident vote here with Buffalo Bill the main danger and Nick's Choice the other for the shortlist. The selection fell last time over this course and distance when looking the likely winner, even though he was on heavy ground that did not suit. He will be more at home in these conditions and providing he gets round he should take the world of beating. Buffalo Bill won well last time at Warwick when beating Just Superb. The fact that he has a penalty for that win and is far from consistent puts us against him here, although he is an obvious danger to our selection. Nick's Choice was pulled-up in a better race than this on his seasonal reappearance, and although he is exposed, he may be good enough to claim some place money. Goss is from a leading yard and is another to consider, although he will have to improve to trouble the principles, and for the winner we return to Beyond The Pale.
