In depth

Verdict

Hateya is upped in class after winning on the Polytrack here but scored by five lengths and could still figure. Nicklaus won a novice event over 6f at Redcar in October while Han Solo Berger won over today’s trip at Musselburgh in the same month. But MAGHAWEER is preferred of those making their seasonal bow as he had a host of subsequent winners behind when scoring at Newmarket in November and gets the nod on that form. U S S Missouri went close at Wolverhampton on his reappearance while Electric Landlady and Breaking Records could go well back on fast going today.
