Verdict

BORN TO FINISH was stepped up to Class 4 company when bidding for a four-timer but could only manage third. He’ll find this much easier and can return to winning ways. Ballesteros also drops in class and is back on a winning mark, though has yet to score on the all-weather, while Colourbearer failed to run his race on the Fibresand at Southwell last time having won at Chelmsford before that. Waneen’s earlier double came over 5f and the remainder seem to be struggling for form at present.
