In depth

Verdict

Postage Stampe was a convincing winner of her only start as a juvenile over seven furlongs and could be anything so is hard to discount completely on her reappearance over a trip that should suit but she has yet to prove her suitability for this surface and a safer bet looks to Whatizzit, who is preferred to Moonlight Music. The last mentioned ran creditably on her debut as a juvenile behind Short Skirt but has not really progressed from that and may be best watched over a trip that she is not certain to stay. Distinctive Look has been inconsistent, while My Petra was well held on her handicap debut last time and may need dropping a few pounds. The Mark Tompkins-trained Lady Romanov is entitled to come on for her reappearance run but needs to if she is to trouble the judge and a safer bet looks to be Whatizzit, who has shown a decent level of form in two starts at Wolverhampton and is entitled to improve further for those two runs.
