Verdict

Despite the big field, not too many of these can be fancied and we'll take a chance that Lucid Dreams can convert her useful all-weather form to turf, with Looking For Love, Master Robbie and Seeking The Sun the likeliest alternatives. Michael Wigham's gelding has been in good shape this winter, having won a maiden handicap at Wolverhampton and been placed on his two subsequent starts. Back on turf today, he drops five pounds in the ratings but it may just be his general improvement rather than his love of the all-weather surfaces that have seen him progress this year and he can take advantage of this current mark. Looking For Love is a model of consistency but somewhat frustrating in that she is very difficult to win with. That said, she chased home a couple of nice sorts in a fillies' handicap at Ascot last time and cannot be ruled out of calculations in this weaker race. Seeking The Sun has been lightly-raced over the last 18 months but has been slipping down the weights and could go well at a fair price for Melissa Scherer, while Folkestone runner-up Master Robbie is also reasonably treated and would not be too far away if putting his best foot forward.
