Verdict

Several catch the eye as ones to watch for the future, but none more so than Swaythe, who edges preference over Thenameescapesme, Stoneyford Ben and Azure Wings. The booking of Tony McCoy catches the eye for Top Brass, who races in the colours of Sir Robert Ogden. He appeals as a likely type to pick up a race somewhere in the north and is worth keeping tabs on from here. Azure Wings was only a cheap purchase but can be placed to good effect in due course, while Stoneyford Ben shaped up nicely a couple of seasons ago but has obviously endured training problems since the. However, his yard have been in good form recently and he too should go well if primed for his reappearance. Thenameescapesme has fitness on his side and should be in the shake-up if handling the surface. However, Swaythe, a half-sister to Stromness, would not have to be anything special to put this lot in their place on her debut and is worth a small investment. Paul Webber does well with this type of animal and she looks set to be a leading player if she lives up to her pedigree billing in this company.
