Verdict

This looks a race that you need a blind fold and pin to pick the winner with all but one with a chance but the tentative vote goes to Lanmire Tower. A winner twice at Market Rasen in the summer Lanmire Tower ran well enough in testing conditions around the same track last time out to suggest that another win is only around the corner. He has fitness on his side something that many of his rivals do not have and if reproducing his best he can go close. Freteval was in the process of running well behind Anflora last time out but for coming to grief at the fifteenth. He was a big price that day and he was probably a beaten horse at the time. Regal River likes soft ground but has always needed his first run back and is therefore bypassed. Ask the Umpire could be a more trust worthy type with a win under his belt at Bangor earlier on in the season and has since had conditions not on his side. This looks within his grasp so is one to note. But for the winner we return Lanmire Tower.
