In depth

Verdict

Epsom Day had an eventful trip around Chelmsford last time having missed the break and then failing to get a clear run in the closing stages. Robbie Havlin switches to stablemate and newcomer REGINA CORDIUM for this and that could prove a pointer to chances of the half-sister of useful pair Gertude Bell and Dick Doughtywylie. Tartan Bute was well beaten on his debut at Wolverhampton so another newcomer in Royal Beekeeper may prove a bigger threat to the Gosden-trained duo.
