        Verdict

        Mulberry Lad, Cool Tiger and Whistleupthewind are the three to look at here and Mulberry Lad can lead them home. Whistleupthewind won a couple of races last summer over seven furlongs and a mile and has had a winless run since over shorter trips. he is stepped back up to his winning trip here and has been running well enough to suggest he can play a part here. Cool Tiger has won two of his last four starts and is lightly raced but has crept up the handicap and was soundly beaten last time. He can reach a place though. Mulberry Lad is in good heart judged by his success in a claimer last time. he carries a six pound penalty for that success here and he may have to improve on recent handicap efforts as he has been well beaten in similar contests recently. However, a chance is taken that Mulberry Lad has had his confidence restored and he can take this.
