In depth

Verdict

Six Shots, Henry The Seventh and Inquisitress are the ones to look at here and Six Shots is the one to be on. Inquisitress has won two of her last five starts and has gone up the handicap since. If you discount her last run where she was unaccountably tailed off, she has a leading chance and can go well at a big price. Henry The Seventh is still a maiden in eight attempts, but John Hills' runner has been well backed on his last two starts and has run well to be placed on each occasion. He can go close here. Six Shots is lightly raced and looks progressive. He made all to score at Wolverhampton over nine furlongs, and tried similar tactics over a furlong more here last time, where he was caught near the finish. Back to a mile today, Six Shots can have too many guns for his rivals and can make all to score.
