In depth

Verdict

White Bear gets the call here, with his biggest dangers reckoned to be Lady Edge and Spanish Music. The selection has shown more than enough form to be considered in what is, overall, a modest event, and he was only just touched off by Alabama Twist at Catterick last time. He should, once again, prove to be competitive here. Spanish Music has shown steady, if unspectacular form, but it is good enough to place her in the mix today, the form of her Folkestone second to Millinsky having worked out well. Lady Edge showed some promise last time, on only her second run and her first for her new trainer, so she warrants some respect too. The others are a little hard to be strong over, although Perfect Solution is a possible improver, while Danescourt has shown some promise and is maybe the stronger Milton Bradley runner as Ninah, despite having shown form two years ago, has shown little of late. Kempsey's best form has come on the all-weather, which returns us to the selection, which is White Bear.
