      Verdict

In the nursery, we will give the vote to Don Peter ahead of Tous les Deux and Halcyon Lodge. Fourth behind the Coventry Stakes winner, Red Clubs at Goodwood last time, we like the look of Don Peter in the nursery. His overall form certainly entitles him to respect, anyway. Tous les Deux might prove to be his main danger, his second to Scooby Dude at Windsor two runs ago rating as a fair effort. Halcyon Lodge holds a shout, while Saxon Saint will appreciate the drop to five furlongs tonight and might go well off a low weight, although she is closely weighted with Tin And Lint on earlier form. Finally, Tafilah is more likely to be at home on the fastest going she has yet to encounter and Buzzin Boyzee has been fitted with first-time headgear, but it will need to bring about improvement. Once again, then, the vote goes to Don Peter.
