In depth

Verdict

Tuscan Treaty, Diamond Dan and Lenwade look the three to check out here and we will take a chance with the first named. The selection disappointed a little at Wolverhampton last time behind Opera Knight but her previous form here at Lingfield is rock solid. She was second to Successor over this trip in December and a repeat of that run should be good enough to take this event. Diamond Dan finished just ahead of the selection last time and also ran well here the time before. He holds definite place claims this afternoon. Lenwade has been ultra consistent on the turf and has gone well here in the past. He should run his race again and will go close for his in form yard. Mutared can never be totally ruled out in this type of event and looks the best of the others, but on this occasion we give a narrow vote to Tuscan Treaty.
