        Verdict

Stagnite is from a yard in form and this one gets our vote ahead of Mulberry Lad and Lauren Louise. The selection drops down in trip having performed with credit here and at Wolverhampton. This six furlongs is his ideal trip as he proved when beating recent winner Segoria her in December. That was the last time he ran in banded company and he can regain winning ways against similar opposition today. Lauren Louise was a close up fourth behind Didn't We last time and with that winner running well next time the form looks rock solid and she is entitled to be involved in the finish. Mulberry Lad comes into the argument on his recent course and distance victory over Chantelle's Dream, he does have to give weight away all round but is the current form horse. Beverley Beau may prove best of the rest but Stagnite has the strongest overall profile and gets the verdict.
