Jumeirah Scarer gets the vote here over Bahiano and Silver Cache. The selection was expected to go close on his debut here over seven furlongs but just got caught out by the steady early pace. With that experience under his belt, he can go one better over this longer trip. Turning to the others, Alfridini is quite well-bred but his stable's two-year-olds often need their first outing. Ashtanza cost 45,000gns but has shown only a little promise in two outings to date. Bahiano was second at Wolverhampton last time and, while more will be needed, he is entitled to be improving. Ones to be watched for in the betting include Andrew Balding's Chase The Dream, although she has plenty of stamina on her dam's side of the pedigree; Jeremy Noseda's Silver Hawk filly Silver Cache, and, possibly, Sunset Dreamer and Our Little Rosie. However, for the selection, we turn to Jumeirah Scarer.
