      Verdict

Vegas Boys, Mistral Sky and Piddies Pride look the three for the shortlist and we side with Vegas Boys. Although he was a little disappointing at Goodwood on his latest start, Vegas Boys has delivered a consistent level of form and is likely to be running on when others have cried enough. Front runner, Mistral Sky should have gleaned confidence for a recent success in claiming grade. Fourth at Windsor on his latest turf start, he is better known as an all-weather specialist these days. Piddies Pride has to be watched in the market given his shrewd connections. If the rain stays away, he has to be a player at this grade. Whistleupthewind returns from absence but could be worth a look in the market as she has gone well fresh in the past. Rogue invariably places but pays the penalty for consistency. Bens Georgie is running well at present but failing to trouble the judge while Joy And Pain has struggled in the past to make use of a favourable turf mark. With pace likely from the gate, a true run race should suit Vegas Boys and he receives our selection.
