Heywood looks to be going the right way judged by his recent Sandown success and Mick Channon's colt is taken to follow up off his new mark and score at the main expense of Veenwouden and Miss Saafend Plaza. The last mentioned is open to improvement after just five starts and seems reasonably well treated but remains a maiden and may be best watched. Hythe Bay struggled in better company last time and may do better back in this grade, while Blue Madeira is strictly held by the selection on running last time and is hard to recommend. Redcliff could be anything after just two starts as could James Fanshawe's Veenwouden so a safer option looks to be Heywood, who is taken to win again.
