      Verdict

Trempari ran well in a maiden handicap at Chepstow recently and has claims here following that effort but this is tougher and more solid claims are held by DEUCE, who gets the verdict ahead of Primera Rossa. Stan Moore's filly has shown improved form of late with a narrow win in a Chepstow seller followed by a decent effort when chasing home Stormy Morning in a handicap at Bath and he has to be respected off the same mark today. The Composer has run better in his last two starts and makes more appeal than Snowberry Hill, who has been well held in recent starts. Bari Bay is less exposed than most of these and has to be considered for Seamus Mullins but it is hard to get away from Deuce. Eve Johnson Houghton's filly has been running consistently well of late and a reproduction of recent form should suffice in this company.
