That's Nice started off well in bumpers but his form deteriorated and he was tried over hurdles last time without much improvement. NIAMH MACHINE has now had eleven bumper starts without winning but her recent runs will have given connections some cause for optimism in a moderate event like this so she gets the vote to finally open her account. Shrewdoperator was beaten a long way into third on his debut and will need to show improvement. Is That Marmalade was one of only two finishers in a point-to-point at Lismore in March and the winner has been well beaten subsequently while Merry Westerner looked very one-paced at Thurles. The market is best watched for clues to the newcomers.
