In depth

Verdict

SCRAPPER JACK ploughed through the mud here in January to gain a convincing victory but ran poorly at Fairyhouse last month. That can't have been his true form and he's taken to get back to winning ways. Cherish The Pear made a moderate debut at Punchestown when Kauto Grand Mogol, who runs in the previous race, finished runner-up and Summer Star was a decent fourth. The latter looks the type to make progress while Made You Look, a winner at Lingstown in December, can do best of the winning point-to-pointers. Vic Chic was sent to Hereford for her debut and though she ran well enough the form has worked out very poorly.
