Verdict

ICE COLD SOUL was purchased by Gigginstown for 82,000 euros after an impressive victory between the flags last March and made an impressive start under Rules when landing a Cork bumper in October. He's a smart prospect and can remain unbeaten, though this is no foregone conclusion. Laid Back Luke had a chequered career between the flags but produced an incredible performance to make all in a Thurles bumper, coming home 17 lengths clear of the remainder. He could be anything as could Mall Dini, who completed a double by landing a point at Killaloe by a distance last month. Prickly made a successful debut in a Tramore bumper in August and wasn't unduly punished on his first start over timber at Naas last month.
