Verdict

Newton Abbot winner BURTONS WELL looked all over the winner when clear at Southwell last time but fell a couple of obstacles from home. He will take the beating in this with a clear round. Bibi D'eole also came a cropper when disputing the lead over fences in France back in January and has subsequently joined Donald McCain. It's hard to predict how he will fare on his hurdling debut but Bobs Lord Tara has plenty to find with selection on his modest form over timber.
