In depth

Verdict

Samantha Jones has been in tremendous form since winning between the flags at Dromahane in May though the assessor has put her up 10lb for finishing third to subsequent winner Big Generator at Roscommon. Fantastic Gold has been in fine form over fences and reverts to hurdles on a 22lb lower mark though she's never won in 17 starts over timber. Roger Loughran has picked up a cracking ride in NOT FOR BURNING, who has been given a nice break since scoring at Listowel in June. She's a winning point-to-pointer who is progressing fast enough to defy a 5lb rise in the weights. Sox's Girl was having her 30th career start when scoring over fences at Tipperary last week and is so well handicapped at present that she has to be a threat to all.
