In depth

Verdict

Richard Johnson has been fortunate in the draw again as Morning Ireland has been running well enough during the summer to suggest he can reach the frame. Jason Maguire looks to have got on the right one as SEAN AIRGEAD comes here on a 23lb lower mark than over fences where he's been running well. His recent hurdles form is nothing to shout about but he could hardly be better handicapped and gets the vote. Drumlister has real problems with his jumping but if Slippers Madden can get him in the right frame of mind he'll be in the mix while a big weight shouldn't prevent a good run from Dusty Trail, who won on the Flat in August.
