Verdict

Aidan O'Brien has won this for the past five years including with Camelot in 2011. Today's representatives, JOHN F KENNEDY and Order Of St George, are both by Galileo and related to high-class winners. The former, who gets the vote, is out of dual Group 1 winner Rumplestiltskin, who has produced winners with her first three foals including Tapestry, while the latter is a half-brother to a couple of Group 3 winners. Hall Of Fame looked in need of the experience at Gowran and had no answer to the Ballydoyle inmate Highland Reel and was beaten 12l. Innish Man took a long time to warm up at Limerick but ran on steadily over that 7f once getting the hang of the job and should grab a place on the podium. Prologue has looked in need of this sort of trip in his two starts and is another to consider.
