In depth

Verdict

Trevanna earned a rating of 85 after completing a double at Naas and is entitled to go higher though the runner-up hasn't enhanced the form. GROUNDFROST arrived from France and ran a fine race in a tough handicap at the Curragh. He's only up 1lb and looks the type to carry on improving so gets the vote. Ma Fee Heela was sent to Dundalk for a maiden over this trip and drew right away from his rivals in the closing stages while Rock In Peace has won three of his last four and stayed on very strongly at Limerick suggesting there's more to come. Jon Ess won what looked a strong Dundalk handicap in good style while none of the remainder can be dismissed, though Spanish Tenor hasn't recaptured his juvenile form.
