Dermot Weld loves this race having won it three times in recent years with top stayers. He's represented this time by the lightly-raced PALE MIMOSA, who won last year's Galtres Stakes at York before finding Longchamp's heavy ground too much for her. She should have more to come and can see off the threat from El Salvador, who didn't look at his best in a Navan Listed contest after completing a hat-trick. Missunited finished in front of him in that latter event and despite her age appears to be on the upgrade. She's a threat but the remainder have a bit to find.
